I will try to embed it below, but if that doesn't work, then just copy and paste this into your browser: http://www.theworkofthepeop...

Re: People Who Are Changing the World

Using these videos in a worship service in no way takes away from sharing the hope of Jesus with others. On the contrary, it could help us in the developed world learn how to deliver the living water of Jesus through life-giving clean water (made possible by a very cool filter). The issue is that meeting physical needs is part of our mission and part of the gospel. Sometimes the path toward physical healing begins with not getting sick anymore and asking why other people would care so much.

Re: People Who Are Changing the World

Obviously, since there's no salvation message attached to these products, they are a sinful distraction from God.

Excuse me, i have to go bash my head against a wall.

p.s., obviously there will be a tornado knocking on your door soon demanding that you repent. This is your only warning.

Re: People Who Are Changing the World

While they die from a simple case of diarrhea due to lack of drinking water? Really? This is the same dualistic thinking, knee jerk reaction against social gospel, that has caused so many people to reject Christianity as even relevant. Jesus turned water into wine (not grape juice), which doesn't seem near as practical as even this on the surface.

Re: People Who Are Changing the World

Perhaps we should NOT focus on man for our Hope.
Jesus is our only Hope we should focus on.
The problems we face in this world all relate to sin and its destructive aftermath.
No, we need to point people to the cross of Jesus as our only Hope.
Without conviction of sin, then repentance, followed by a changed heart, man has NO hope.

Re: People Who Are Changing the World

Really fantastic!
